With so many beautiful golf courses in Punta Cana, it’s difficult to choose the top courses, but these are the best of the best!
Cap Cana – Punta Espada
This golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and will challenge any golfer. The scenery is gorgeous as you’ll see the beach, bluffs, and a bit of a jungle. There are four holes with spectacular shoreline views! You’ll need both strategy and skill to master these 18 holes.
Rental cars and cabbies are included in the green fees. There is also a practice facility, snack bar, restaurant, and lockers. Price range is from $235 – $310.
Located at the Punta Cana Resort near Cap Cana, this Tom Fazio course is a golfer’s paradise. It’s worth your time to golf these 18 holes, just for the dramatic Devil’s Elbow and 18th hole. With six holes Oceanside, the views are phenomenal.
The fairways meander through an upscale residential area with a partial bit of the course next to the Bay of Corales. The soft breeze from the Caribbean is an added bonus. Caddies are required, but fees include a cart, practice facility, towels, yardage books, ice water, and tees. Packages are available at the Westin Punta Cana Resort.
La Cana Golf Club
P. B. Dye’s designed course is one of the most impressive in the Caribbean and is also located at the Punta Cana Resort. Regardless of your skill level, you’ll love playing this 18-hole course with its outstanding views of the ocean. With the cool, windy breeze coming from the Caribbean, it adds even more of a challenge.
Green fees are $135 per person if you are a guest at the resort, and $175 if you’re staying elsewhere. Round packages are available and golf clubs are also available for rent.
Casa de Campo – Teeth of the Dog
This is one of the older courses, in the nearby town of La Romana, but still a favorite for many and a very challenging and dazzling course. With seven unique holes right on the water and several at sea level, you’ll be awestruck by the surrounding beauty.
Pete Dye also designed these 18 outstanding holes to give you the utmost challenge and relaxation. You’ll want to play this course again!
Casa de Campo – Dye Fore

The other nine, known as the Chavon, offers amazing views of the canyon and the Chavon River.
Hard Rock Golf Club
The Hard Rock is an impressive course designed by Jack Nicklaus. It’s one of the newer courses with 18 holes that will not only stimulate you but will give you an exhilarating experience. The resort is all-inclusive, which includes golf and the cart.
You’ll find the staff extremely attentive and professional. Club rentals run $50 if you don’t bring yours along. Drinks and snacks are brought to you for an added dividend.
